What is the Big 98.7 Christmas Wish?
The Christmas Wish is a program started in 1989. For over 25 years, the Christmas Wish program has helped individuals and families in need. From putting Christmas presents under the tree, to replacing a water heater, or helping with medical expenses, the Big Christmas Wish is able to help fulfill the everyday needs of our wish recipients all year long.  The purpose of Christmas Wish is to provide families in need in our community with goods, services or monetary gifts. For some families this may mean paying an overdue utility bill, a set of snow tires for another, baby items or food for yet another. You can even showcase someone that you believe deserves some shine for how much they have given of themselves over the year! Think your kid’s teacher that goes above and beyond, or someone who is always stepping up in others’ time of need! The Christmas Wish program attempts to make the holiday season a bit brighter for those families who have fallen on hard times due to illness, layoffs, financial difficulties or other trying circumstances.
