Hootie & the Blowfish have announced a new North American tour and album 2019. The band, led by Darius Rucker, will begin the Group Therapy tour on May 30th in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and will end September 13th at the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina. Tickets go on sale for the general public on Friday.
Barenaked Ladies will also be featured on the tour. Hootie & the Blowfish also announced that a sixth studio album will be released next year. The group has signed a new record deal with Universal Music Group Nashville, the same label group where Rucker is currently signed as a solo performer.
