Tom Arnold says he is filing a police report against producer Mark Burnett after a brawl that Arnold and Burnett’s wife documented on social media.
Arnold wrote on Twitter Monday (in response to a tweet President Donald Trump sent about James Comey): “Sitting in West LAPD filing charges against your best bud Apprentice Outtakes Mark Burnett who lost his mind, attacted & chocked me last nite at Katzenberg’s Night Before The Emmy’s Party. Last fight I got into there was with Harvey Weinstein. Mark Burnett is scared:) #TrumpTapes.”
Arnold claimed that actor Kevin Bacon and his daughter Sosie witnessed their fight. After the alleged argument, Arnold posted pics with other stars at the party, including Patton Oswalt and Billy Eichner. Eichner took to Twitter himself, writing: “Everyone in LA is shaken. Hold your loved ones tight.”
Burnett’s wife Roma Downey also spoke out with her side of the story, sharing a photograph of what she said was an injury she sustained during their altercation. Arnold then retweeted her tweet and wrote: “Bull***t. You lie your crazy husband attacked me you psycho. I’m filing police report & suing you for defamation.”
CAUSE OF THE BEEF?
Arnold has been working on a new show for Vice about alleged “hidden Trump tapes.” Arnold claims super-producer Burnett buried outtakes from The Apprentice in which Trump used racist epithets, including the n-word.
