Johnny Depp is reportedly being sued by a member of the crew on City of Lies. The 55-year-old reportedly lashed out Gregg “Rocky” Brooks after being told he had one more chance to finish shooting a scene.
Depp plays LAPD detective Russell Pool in the film, which is based on the true story of Biggie Smalls’ murder, reportedly hired friends for a scene in downtown L.A. in April of 2017. But when things didn’t go as planned and Brooks told Depp they had to finish up, Depp screamed “Who the f*** are you? You have no right to tell me what to do.”
He claimed that Depp then punched him twice in the rib cage and offered Brooks $100,000 to punch him in the face. Bodyguards then reportedly removed Depp from the scene.
The suit, which also reportedly notes that Depp was intoxicated, seeks unspecified damages. The firm Baker, Olson, LeCroy & Danielian filed the suit.
