President Trump will be at Scheels Arena today, to rally at 7 p.m. in support of Rep. Kevin Cramer’s bid for the U.S. Senate. Doors will open at 4 p.m. Attendees must have tickets, and tickets won’t be available at the arena box office. The speech will be broadcast live on WDAY and streamed on inforum.com. The motorcade route wasn’t released for security reasons, but police say traffic delays are likely in the late afternoon and early evening. There will be two road closures near the arena beginning at noon that will reopen after Trump leaves. The arena parking lot opens at noon. Parking is free but limited, and carpooling is recommended. Two food trucks will be outside the arena starting at noon. Beginning at 10 a.m., a tent will sell water, fruit and granola bars, and attendees can buy drinks, popcorn and hot dogs inside the arena. Port-a-potties will be available outside. There isn’t a designated protest area, but criminal behavior will get people arrested. Protestors can’t block roads or sidewalks.
