’N Sync will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame during a ceremony in Los Angeles on April 30. “How fitting this ceremony will take place on It’s Gonna Be May Day!” former band member Lance Bass tweeted on Tuesday. “See y’all there!” Joey Fatone also teased the announcement, tweeting, “In the next few mins everyone will finally know what time and date @nsync is getting a star on the walk of fame.” It’s unclear if all five members of the band–which also consisted of Justin Timberlake, J.C. Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick–will attend the ceremony. “It’s Gonna Be May” Day is a nod to ’N Sync’s 2000 single “It’s Gonna Be Me,” in which Timberlake sings the title in a way that makes it sound like he’s shouting “It’s gonna be May!”
