THAT is a severance package!

The Hollywood Reporter confirms that Bill O'Reilly, who was sacked by FOX earlier this week amidst a cavalcade of sexual harassment allegations, will receive a $25 million severance--the equivalent of a year's salary, per the terms of his recently renegotiated (and now aborted) contract. That's a ton of money, but it's nowhere near the $40 million FOX head honcho Roger Ailes was paid when he was shown the door this past summer for coming on to multiple women. Clearly, O'Reilly leaves enormous shoes to fill at FOX News, where The O'Reilly Factor was the top-rated cable news show for 16 years, averaging close to four million viewers each night.
