Brad Pitt has been spending a lot of extracurricular time with an award-winning MIT professor named Neri Oxman, Page Six reports. A source tells the paper that Pitt met Oxman through an architecture project and they became fast friends.
“Brad and Neri instantly hit it off, because they share the same passion for architecture, design and art. This is best described as a professional friendship.”
- But the source added, “Their friendship has not turned into romance … as both are cautious and this is, again, more of a professional friendship, but Brad is very interested in spending more time with Neri, she is fascinating.”
- Pitt and Angelina Jolie are still finalizing their divorce and a custody agreement over their six children.
- Per Page Six, Oxman “coined the term, and pioneered the field of, Material Ecology, which considers computation, fabrication, and the material itself as inseparable dimensions of design. In this approach, products and buildings are biologically informed and digitally engineered by, with and for, nature.”
- For Pitt’s Make It Right Foundation, created to build affordable and environmentally sustainable housing for people in need, he works with architects in New Orleans and Kansas City who are recovering from natural disasters.
